Hi, I'm Dave.
Twenty-eight years ago and immediately following completion of my B.Comm from UBC, I started my career in employee benefits. Over the years, I've gained a lot of expertise. To this day, I remain passionate about making a difference for my clients. I know how important it is to listen first and ensure I understand their needs before designing the optimal benefit and/or pension plan. My background includes being a founding and senior partner at Carleton Financial Group. In August 2013, I merged with Gallagher Benefit Services Inc., so that I could offer a national platform of services to my clients while still maintaining a local presence in Ottawa. Strong Family Values Believing in family and living with integrity are my core values. My wife, Jill, and I have three young and active children. We're very involved in their activities and in the Ottawa community. I'm proud to support many charitable organizations. That's why my entire career has been focused on designing and implementing employee benefit and pension plans; they have a tremendous impact on both businesses and families. Good Business Sense Employee benefits are an integral part of an employee’s compensation. In order to attract and retain key talent, business owners need benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective. Benefit and pension plans positively impact employee engagement, which in turn, affects productivity and profitability. When employees are motivated, feel valued and secure, they work harder and are better ambassadors for their companies. Benefits and pensions make good business sense. Strong Support Network I understand business owners because I'm one. I know what's involved with starting-up, maintaining and growing a business. When you choose to work with me, you gain the experience, dedication and the passion of my team. They have extensive industry knowledge and work closely with all of our service providers and insurers. They are committed to delivering outstanding customer service. You deserve nothing less. |
